A small number of Internet Professional Claim Submission (IPCS) claims were processed in error between September 18, 2021 and September 22, 2021. Due to an ICD indicator issue, RAD code 9981 linked with Error Code 3170.
IPCS claims submitted during this period will be reprocessed by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), to include the correct ICD indicator. Providers will see a new Claim Control Number (CCN) for the corrected claim. These claims will go through normal processing procedures after resubmittal.
