Computer Media Claims (CMC) TelePoint Decommissioning

During the month of September 2020, Medi-Cal is decommissioning the Computer Media Claims (CMC) TelePoint telecommunications system to stop the submission of Medi-Cal claims to the Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) through a modem over existing phone lines. CMC agents have already made contacts with the submitters and this is a final notification that TelePoint modems will no longer be in use, effective September 2020.

DHCS recommends providers switch over to Medi-Cal Provider website ( to submit claims.
