Starting January 1, 2023, doula services are a new Medi-Cal benefit. Doulas who wish to be reimbursed for services provided to Medi-Cal beneficiaries will need to enroll as providers. If they serve members with managed care, they will also need to contract with a managed care plan. Below are trainings and information that will help doulas learn how to become a provider in Medi-Cal.
