Effective September 1, 2008, HCPCS code A9579 has been added to California Children’s Services (CCS) Service Code Groupings (SCGs) 01, 02, 03 and 07.

Effective December 1, 2008, HCPCS codes J1455 and J7310 have been added to SCGs 01, 02, 03 and 07.

In addition, HCPCS code X7420 and CPT-4 codes 93313, 93314, 93316 and 93317 have been end-dated effective December 1, 2008.

Reminder:

SCG 02 includes all the codes in SCG 01, plus additional codes applicable only to SCG 02. SCG 03 includes all the codes in SCG 01 and SCG 02, plus additional codes applicable only to SCG 03. SCG 07 includes all the codes in SCG 01 plus additional codes applicable only to SCG 07. These same “rules” apply to end-dated codes.
