Basic Metabolic Panel Rate Correction
Effective retroactively for dates of service on or after September 1, 2008, the rate for CPT-4 code 80047 (basic metabolic panel, [calcium, ionized]) has been corrected. The correct rate is $24.41.
No provider action is necessary. Existing claims will be automatically reprocessed so that providers are correctly reimbursed.
