Anesthesia Services Reimbursement Update
Effective January 1, 2009, documentation is no longer required to justify utilization of anesthesia services on the same day as Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Balloon Angiography (PTCA), CPT-4 codes 92982 and 92984.
A Treatment Authorization Request is still required for codes 92982 and 95984.This information is reflected on manual replacement page surg cardio 3 (Part 2).
