New Inquire Only Function for TARs
The electronic Treatment Authorization Request (eTAR) Inquire Only functionality for viewing TARs is now available to Medi-Cal providers, including inpatient services providers. Providers with current eTAR access can now find an additional "Inquire Only" link within the Transaction Services menu. Inpatient Providers will see a new tab on the Transition Services menu labeled "eTAR" for viewing the "Inquire Only" link.
Using the online TAR Inquiry Only function is a fast way for all providers to inquire about the progress of TARs submitted online or through the mail. To use the eTAR system, providers must have a Medi-Cal Point of Service (POS) Network/Internet Agreement form on file.
