Upcoming HPV and Cervical Disease CME/CE Courses
The Every Woman Counts program is offering a live course titled, “HPV & Cervical Disease: Risk-Based Management of Screening Results” as a continuing education (CE) credit opportunity for providers who perform cervical cancer screening as part of their scope of practice.
The course is offered throughout California and will be taught by Patty Cason, MS, FNP-BC, a renowned expert in diseases of the genital tract. Course topics include:
- HPV and risk of cervical disease
- Screening and management guidelines
- Optimal Pap collection technique
- HPV test as screening – interim guidance
- Nomenclature changes
- Prevention
- Patient communication
Participants can earn either five American Medical Association (AMA) Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA) Category 1 continuing medical education (CME) credits, or six Nursing CE contact hours.
