SURGE eTAR Processing Issue Resolved

From January 1 through January 8, 2016, an error caused the SURGE system to reject electronic Treatment Authorization Requests (eTARs) for select service code and service category combinations.

As of January 9, 2016, the issue has been resolved. Providers should resubmit eTARs with dates of service prior to January 1, 2016, that were rejected as a result of this error.

All service codes in the ranges below were affected, but only for the service category listed. Providers may refer to the Medi-Cal provider manual to verify whether a code is reimbursable by Medi-Cal.
