Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), the new Fiscal Intermediary for the Medi-Cal program, has developed a chart in conjunction with the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) that provides a visual breakdown and understanding to providers on how to successfully navigate through Medi-Cal and Specialty Programs. This newly developed Navigating Medi-Cal and Specialty Programs chart can assist providers in each of the following areas:

• Navigate the new Medi-Cal Learning Portal (MLP).
• Identify the Medi-Cal provider manual that contains their specific billing and policy instructions (for example, the Allied Health for Therapies manual).
• Identify the specialty program provider manual that contains their specific billing and policy instructions (such as the Child Health and Disability Prevention program provider manual).
• Identify the claim form(s) to use when billing for services rendered.
