HIPAA: Updated HIPAA Technical Assistance Webcasts Available via Online Archive
November 23, 2005The Department of Health Care Services (DHS) is again offering technical assistance online via webcast recording. Two new webcasts were posted December 1, 2005. The archived recordings cover the transactions listed below, updated with current and future project information:
- 270/271 Real-Time and Batch Eligibility Inquiry and Response Transaction
- 276/277 Claim Status Inquiry and Response Transaction
Archived Webcasts Will Be Available Through February 2006
To view the archived webcasts, visit the HIPAA Webcast Technical Assistance Seminars page and click the appropriate link. The archived webcasts can be viewed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

familiar with the structure and data content of electronic and EDI
transactions. Those who will benefit from the archived webcasts
include technical support and clearinghouse personnel, software
vendors and submitters. All participants are strongly encouraged to
review and be familiar with the transaction's HIPAA Implementation
Guide and Companion Guide. Please contact your technical support
staff to let them know that online technical assistance is again
available.
