The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Fiscal Intermediary (FI) Provider Training Unit coordinates and conducts numerous Medi-Cal training seminars that benefit both new and experienced billers. Held in various cities throughout the state, these seminars target providers and billing staff who are either new to the Medi-Cal program, or who have specific Medi-Cal billing questions.

Medi-Cal offers a three-day training format designed to meet the needs of Allied Health, Long Term Care (LTC), Medical Services (MS), Vision Care (VC), Health Access Program (HAP), Inpatient/Outpatient and California Children's Services (CCS) providers. Please arrive at 8:00 a.m. to allow time for parking and onsite registration.

Comprehensive Medi-Cal Seminars addressing multiple topics will begin on March 17, 2010.
