Payments to providers that render services to Medi-Cal funded programs scheduled for the checkwrites of June 19, 2008 and June 26, 2008 were deferred to July 2, 2008. Due to Medi-Cal expenditures coming in under budget, the Administration directed EDS to release one additional checkwrite than originally planned.

These funds were released from the State Controller's Office on June 26, 2008. Due to a timing adjustment, checkwrites are being released July 3, 2008 instead of the expected date of July 2, 2008. There is no anticipated change in the date of the receipt of your checkwrite.
